This is a piece from "my snapshot memories" that I started in 2000's. While illness at home and viruses everywhere I would constantly be looking for a place to rest mymind, to feel at peace. I would photograph places of solitude and lookat photos of where I had been. I wished mymind there, as I created these memories in watercolors. High Ground: Punta Gorda, Florida, off I75. A patch of low ground with water standing and bight yellow flowers growing in an otherwise parched parcel of land in the middle of summer.
MATERIALS
Watercolor, hot press paper, mounted on wooden cradle, 4 coats micro crystalline wax.
